Please remember that out of hours swim sessions in Larne can't take place without a female chaperone. If you have a swimmer attending these sessions please try and make yourself available to cover a session or two. All too often this is left to the same people to cover. Please register your availability on the list on the the noticeboard in Larne.

With mutual agreement Kerrie and Dave will no longer be part of our coaching team. Between them they have given many great years to Larne swimmers and it is very unfortunate that they are no longer part of our team.

A huge THANK YOU to all the coaches and volunteers who helped to make the Antrim Championships a great success. It couldn't have happened without the support of so many people and the committee would like to thank all of those involved. Results are in the 'Results' section above.

smileLarne Swimming Club had 42 swimmers entered in these Championships, the largest of any club at this years meet. It was a marathon meet with sessions lasting 4-5 hours, however the swimmers took all this in their stride as their performances showed. As they were entering the meet with no taper or rest, every swimmer was a little unsure as to how they would perform. Again they all stepped up and delivered some tremendous performances. The 3 days of racing produced 18 Gold medals, 17 Silvers, 14 Bronzes and 65 top 10 placings! Read on for Dave Stronge's report....
