Conor achieved 3 GOLD MEDALS in the 100 BS, 200 BS & 200 IM and in addition to these British titles he broke the Ulster Junior Record in the 200 BS! Congratulations to all the swimmers at the AquaSprints ‘A’ final in Bangor. A super night’s racing between Larne, Lisburn & Ards with Ards the overall victors and Larne the runners up (our highest position since at least 2002!) The supporting crowd ensured an electric atmosphere in Bangor – click this link to see the photos. Thanks to all the volunteers & gala organisers & to all the swimmers for their impeccable behaviour, super swimming & fantastic dancing on the night!!

Awesome victory tonight against Banbridge, winning by 58 points. A big thank you to Banbridge for making the long journey to us & well done to all volunteers, coaches and of course all the swimmers. Larne are now into the A final for the Aquasprint charity shield for the first time since 2004!

Three swimmers from the Gaelectric sponsored Larne swimming club have been selected to represented Northern Ireland at the Life Saving Commonwealth Games. In early September the trio of Nicky Burne (26), Ruairi Hurson (17) and Eórann O'Neill (17) will travel to Melbourne to compete in a number of life saving pool based events. Congratulations to all three swimmers on this fantastic achievement and honour!

Congratulations to Kerry who has achieved 200 hours of volunteer coaching and teaching with Larne Swimming Club. At a recent awards night at the Waterfront hall in Belfast Kerry was among 400 other volunteers receiving their awards. Kerry was the only Swim Ulster recipient.
